| Ok, it's time to make the switch I have been with AT&T when they were the only phone company provider (over 50 years) and Earthlink for over 10 years. I just took the plunge and applied for sonic fusion service. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping the conversion is smooth and service is good. Wish me luck! |

 | Got them from Radio Shack. thanks. |

 | reply to loadmaster I go live tomorrow morning. Can't wait to see the results. I am currently getting 5.08 mps down at 5300 ft from the CO with Earthlink. |

 | reply to loadmaster Well the switch over happened today. Phone works and my DSL speed has improved from 5.1 mps down to 16.1 mps down. Took a bit of time for my router to get the correct IP address but now everything looks ok. |

 | does sonic still offer discount incentives for recommendations that turn into new customers? |

Not really, we're winding that program down. It's cumbersome, and at the thin margins in Fusion etc, tough to build into the economic model.

mythgardSonic.net join:2006-01-18 Santa Rosa, CA | I have to second that. Getting fiber access is a way better incentive than anything that we have offered in the past. |
|
 | reply to Paul in SF fiber is indeed a fabulous incentive, if you happen to live in sebastopol.... |
