4 edits | VTel ADSL download and upload jumped the shark! It was fixed on February 8 and then on March 14, caught it back down to 10 Mbit!

Is this a bad thing that I'm set to annex A? It was set to annex M in another modem I had.
And it reports I have more attenuation. O_O
Do I really need to shorten the cat5e telephone line length?
(I don't like the attenuation reading, when compared to my last screenshot in February!) |

Re: VTel ADSL download and upload jumped the shark! Hello, I solved the problem somewhat, it syncs at a higher rate and I get 10.6 Mb down and 0.70 up now.
Web pages also are more snappy! Even with only a tiny increase reported!
Reported attenuation dropped! It's now 2.0 db.
All I did was turn off the router, changed the telephone cord to a real short one then turned the router back on. |
