Mint Search Enhancer

I finally installed Linux on my laptop (Linux Mint 10). Everything is working except I can't remove a Firefox add on called Mint Search Enhancer. So far I was able to delete the extension folder in usr/lib/firefox/extensions and that fixed the address bar search but my search bar seems to be still hijacked. Any idea on how to remove this?

BTW the add on uninstall button seems to be disabled so the most obvious way of removing this does not work.

Delete it from synaptic package manager or use the software center. It cannot be removed from firefox like a normal addon.
