Didn't you just say don't listen to strangers on the internet for investment advice? LOL.... And believe me, not all investment advisors have your best interest at heart, so remember that....
I'm with Coma .....holding my "core" shares of AAPL for a very long time. I do trade in/out of it with extra shares, but not selling my shares from 2003 at $11+ cost average, heh
As for CSCO, its a fine company, but it is old tech, and no longer a growth stock. It has sat around the $20 area for years now. So, YES, do your DD. |

I don't have a problem with ignoring or gtfo.....just find the hypocrisy rather blatant |

Someone asked me, so i answered. A post above i said you shouldn't listen to people, but i never said in my post you should go buy the stock i was recommending.
Are you seeing something that's not there? Wouldn't be the first time -- I found the key to success but somebody changed the lock. |

DeeCPremium join:2000-09-01 the world kudos:1 | Well, simple.....you said people shouldn't listen to financial advice from a messageboard, and you answered a question regarding finances/investments.
Maybe, just maybe, the other person who gave a financial comment was simply just doing as YOU? Giving their opinion and/or answering a question.
And please, we can do with out the "Wouldn't be the first time" comments. I have no idea why you are so angry, bitter, and defensive..... Did you sell your AAPL stock too early that you bought near $250? |

Did you sell your AAPL stock too early that you bought near $250? Yes, i answered a question. Should I have ignored it? The guy said someone on an internet board told him something, i said you shouldn't go by that and should do your own research.
Then i posted my pick but never said you should blindly buy what i said. I even said i haven't done my research on it yet. So what's the problem here?
I'm not angry or bitter, just don't see why you're accusing me of being a hypocrite when there is no evidence to support it. -- I found the key to success but somebody changed the lock. |

DeeCPremium join:2000-09-01 the world kudos:1 1 edit | Again, when the other person commented that someone else said "blah blah blah" ....maybe that person was just giving their opinion, thoughts, AS YOU.
Of course people should do their own DD .....of course, this is obvious. Many don't though (because they are lazy or something else), and rely on others to do it for them. Believe me, I know, speaking from experience in many, many locked financial threads.... People are just too lazy, and then when they LOSE money, or follow someone into a bad short, they are surprised.
I think we are done here..... GL in your investment choices |

Yeah, and i never said the guy should listen to my opinion over the other guys. He would be smart to ignore both of us (but he did ask for my opinion).
So again i ask, what's your point? -- I found the key to success but somebody changed the lock. |
