Want to try Internet Explorer 9 Beta?
Since you're running Windows XP, you won't be able to install Internet Explorer 9 unless you upgrade to a more recent version of Windows.

I also despise ClearType and turn it off every time I reformat or get a new machine.

Re: [Info] Internet Explorer 9 BETA Released, more*...

I installed IE9 Beta fresh, so for me:

1. Right click the Tools (gear symbol) icon on the top right corner
2. Select or tick "command bar"
3. Tools > Toolbars > Explorer bars > Favorites >Add to Favorites
4. Import/Export... > Import from a file
5. Go to Bookmarks.html (located in FF's "Default" folder)> Open
6. Finish

Click for full size
I can't even get it to download at all. See the screen shot.
I do run a host file, but it's stored on my router, and I don't know just how to edit it to allow this site. Any other way to get it?

Maybe the following link will be of some help:

Thank You, that didn't help, but I was able to disable my host file on my router, and get it.
Thank You for your help though.

I did an uninstall on it, because it is the ugliest than sin browser interface. This is a move backwards in how much worst can MS make their interfaces.

Thanks Kabanos for the link.
My integrated graphic card (radeon x1250) supports DirectX v9, I have also installed latest Catalyst 10.9 (from 15th Sept 2010) drivers... and still nothing. I have this option grayed in IE9 settings... any ideas?

Thanks,

Both the card and the drivers, must support GPU hardware acceleration.

The following link has more info:

»support.microsoft.com/kb/2398082/en-us

You may have to add a card that supports GPU hardware acceleration.
