 | reply to Gone Fishing I am stunned at how quickly this thing renders sites. Absolutely amazing, in beta form, a thousand times superior to IE8. -- "Don't steal. The government hates competition." Beyond AM. Beyond FM. XM |

cmcasey79 join:2000-12-10 Farmington, MI kudos:1 | reply to Gone Fishing 2 things I don't really like so far...
1 - The font rendering... I hate it, and I can't find a way to get it to use "normal" non-aliased fonts. Even turning off the GPU rendering doesn't do it.
2 - UI not customizable. I know everyone is out for minimalism now, but I would at least like to be able to have a full row for tabs, not have them squished beside the address bar, because I sometimes have 8 or so tabs open. I like to see at least a bit of the tab title. Maybe someone will eventually find a registry hack for that or something.
Other than those 2 things, looking good so far! -- - cmcasey79, BrightHouse Michigan RoadRunner Turbo(15000/1500), Farmington Hills, MI |

Re: [Info] Internet Explorer 9 BETA Released Some questions for those who've done it on W7 64 Bit. a. Did IE9 beta install over IE 8 or IE 8 was left alone? b. IN W7 64 Bit, did it install both 32 & 64 Bit versions of IE?
Thanks. |

Is there an uninstall feature to go back to IE8 if needed to? Control panel; uninstall; a program; make sure the "view installed updates" feature is enabled.

EDIT: P.S.>> Found out I couldn't attach the above pic to the BBR post here in IE9 without the attached pic showing as a blank image. When I switched to Chrome, it worked. Bug in IE9 or in BBR's attachment code? |
