it's not Road Runner, it's Level3 - they're having either work done, or the hamster died.
I really do wish, TWC would get a better tier 1 provider  level 3 is very bad.

Having problem here too. South Carolina to anywhere is slow. Tried all on east coast and got slow results. One would think that RR would route around a problem in Dallas? Ah well, I admit that I don't have all the information yet. But I admit that RR is slow, too! |

4.59.32.25 - thats where my latency goes to hell when i ping any address, for some reason i'm being sent there, which is probably overloaded. usually i go thru NYC to Newark and then out of the east coast on level 3's backbone.
Level3 is a Tier 1 provider, which basically is a global ISP, which companies like roadrunner and others buy bandwidth from and such. read up on tier 1 providers its a pretty interesting read

In SoCal, Ventura County it is horrible. .5 Mbps and extremely high latency coupled with at least 50% packet loss. This sucks. Hopefully they get this straightened out by the time i wake up. |
