As you noted?

Um no. There is no antenna flaw. Drop it all ready, so tired of people who never used an iPhone asking me about "the antenna problem", only problem is i might jam it up the nose of the next person who "knowingly" asks about a problem that isn't there.

It really seems like people have been proactively looking for a reason not to buy the coolest phone ever made. It's pretty stupid.

But haven't you heard? Mindlessly bashing every Apple product is the cool thing to do now. It's very nonconformative.

Be an individual, man! Buy a Droid like I did! That way you can enjoy endlessly waiting for carriers to push out upgrades, thousands of subpar apps in a marketplace that is a nightmare to browse, and broken AAC+ decoding that makes streaming music apps unlistenable.

I've begun to notice that I hear mocking and ridicule of a hypothetical Apple fanboy far more often than I have ever heard an actual fanboy.

No antenna flaw? Seriously? Now that is just silly. Thousands of people have an issue, including myself. To say there is no flaw when there is more than ample evidence is sticking your head in the sand.

No.. there is a problem with SOME of the phones. I now have two of the version 4 phones. Both of them behave completely different from the other.

It's not just an antenna signal display issue.. one phone will have service while the other won't.

He most likely has a phone that isn't having a problem therefore there just isn't a problem.

Some people REALLY need to be able to think FAR outside their own boxy world. Things just aren't 1 way..

He, you mean you (me)?

Seriously, just turn off the computer and go outside.

I've used about 60 iPhone 4's purchased through all different channels, some pre-ordered some not, all of them were sans bumper, most of them had the clear screen protector, some of the people took the case off for me to use, kindly asked them because I said I wanted to see what it looked like before I got one for myself or my girlfriend. Yah, I asked people, as in, social interaction out in the great wide world!

I went from an iPhone 3G to a Droid X.

I've got no issues finding good apps, playing AAC+ from Slacker, Pandora, and other sources.

I've also had no real issues with the OS and updates. It room Apple what 2 months to release the bugfix OS 4.1? And I won't hold the POS 4.0/4.01 against them. You know the release that pretty much killed the 3G devices.

With my DX, I can do things you still can't with the iPhone, like tether for free with Bluetooth, have expandable memory, customizable screens, keyboards, better multitasking, etc. I really had hopes for the iPhone 4 but was underwhelmed with it. So I moved on. May be back for iPhone 6.

Android sucks, I have a Droid Eris and it is SLOOOOW, buggy and crashes. I will never buy another android phone again. It was fine till they pushed the 2.1 update out, the it crawled to a dead stop. At least Apple make it easy to roll back to the old OS.

I don't care about tethering, expandable memory or keyboards. Customizing screens is OK, not a make or brake for buying a phone and as for multitasking, its a PHONE. I don't even use it on Android.

I love how the android fanbois have to make there phones seem so much better than the iphone. Grow up its a phone use the one you like the best.

By the way the droid x looks nice but it is HUGE, way to big for what I want. If I want something that big I will use my iPad as a phone

How true and I like Apple products and I think the antenna design is a great idea IF they can fix it

Umadbro?

No antenna Flaw? No wait, you're not mad, just a regular at the Apple Kool-Aid bar if you think for one second that the poor antenna design on the iPhone 4 is anything but real....

If you want to think that this iteration of the iPhone 4 (flaw and all) is the "end all, be all" of smartphone's then go right ahead and believe the marketing crowd at 1 Infinite Loop in Cupertino but please don't disparage others who choose not to agree with your myopic perception that there's no flaw when their obviously is...

Myopic? Hello, 60 phones, can you read as well as you seem to be able to type? Talk abut myopic....

Also, i don't talk about things i know nothing about, and if you want me to be honest, telling me there's something wrong with how i see things vs providing facts just makes you look foolish.

In any case, i'll go enjoy my iPhone 4, i'm guessing you don't have one.

I'm sorry, but I'm not in the habit of wanting defective merchandise and defending it by saying that there's nothing wrong with it.

It doesn't matter if you've held 6, 60 or 600 iPhone 4's, it's a proven fact that there's been a design defect since day one and if you can use Google as well as you write you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.

How many of those 60 iPhone 4's that you personally tested were in a bumper or other type of case....?

I completely understand why anyone who paid the prices that Apple asks for their phones would not want to admit they bought a flawed device, but to stubbornly refuse to believe the overwhelming evidence that say's your position is at best misguided only serves to reinforce the Apple stereotype that everyone that owns Apple products is not merely a fan, but a fanatic who will not listen to reason in defense of their perfect product.....

I don't need to see 60 iPhone4's to see that there is in fact a problem with SOME phones.. just how many? ..not sure. But yes, I too did see an issue. Is it every phone? no.

You can't argue when one phone has full signal, the other had none.. not only did it not have signal, it couldn't place a call, surf the web, connect an app, send a text.. nothing. Both phones were in the same situation - with or with out cases. Both were rebooted. One phone just couldn't get any service outside of the mall of america. I moved closer to the airport and I got service on both I moved back to the mall.. nothing, again. This pattern repeats.

I'm sure I just have a flook, right? ... as do others, huh?

I'm not going to buy into that ALL phones have issues because it's clear they don't. I think that there is no way to be sure if all phones, no phones, or how many phones are affected by this issue. One of my phones,.. rock solid. The other? not so much. I can also repeat this test with another person who has the same problem.. then I can say others who don't have the problem.

Again, it's to the "extent" that this is happening and on how many handsets. Not to mention, you going to sit here and argue with apple themselves who says there is a bit of an issue? hrmm?
