Re: [Tech] Power steering pump If it was low,it has a leak somewheres unless they pushed the vehicle and turned the steering with the engine not running.
When these pumps get low,they will whine because it has air in the system. I would make sure it is full and drive it some more and see if it shuts up. If not,you can take about a table spoon of STP OIL TREATMENT(yeah I know bad stuff),but more times than none it will shut the pump up.
Keep an eye on the fluid level and for leaks on the ground. |
