Re: [FireFox] Essential Firefox Addons 2010 Yes, it is very annoying. They do have a silent version, but it is still annoying. It appears only to alert when it detects Google AdSense, Analytics and Google web sites. I really doubt that it checks for "personal" information at all.
I suppose if I really hated Google and wanted to avoid all sites that "use" Google servers to collect my "personal" stuff it might be useful. Then again I may as well just pull the plug.
