the evo is still hot right now. And with their cheap plans under sprint, no wonder why everyone wants one.

I'm spending maybe about $10 more with sprint but still less with sprint because with T-mobile I had the my favs and non people in my my favs would call me and run my minutes out.

Finally got mine, I just walked into the store and got one, a shipment had arrived right as I had walked in . I hadn't even been trying to get one until a few day's ago. So far the speed's are a bit slow but stable on 3G. Call quality is very impressive over Sprint. This is my secondary line to AT&T.

Yeah people keep hating on sprint but it's no longer 1996..

No dropped calls yet.. I hear they have a little 4G in Stamford so I will have to see.

FWIW, The Albany NY, Crossgates Mall Sprint store had a number in stock and were never out.

Probably can order from there.

I have noticed a similar pattern with 4G.

The antenna on the EVO is generally located about where the volume buttons are positioned. In my office at work, if I set the phone on one side of my computer, with with my body between the phone and the window, I get 1 4G bar, and sometimes 2 bars will briefly appear for a short period of time. Now if I place the phone on the other side, where I am not between the phone and the window, I normally see 2 bars, and occasionally it will drop to 1 bar for a bit.

We are talking only 3 feet or so, and while I certainly could stand to lose a few pounds, I'm not Jabba the Hutt, and I don't have some crazy contraption in my chest a la Tony Stark/Iron Man.

This is my first cell phone. I did some shopping around and decided to go with Sprint. I also decided on the EVO 4G. I saw that the online store was out of stock. I decided to try local store. The went and checked the storeroom and found one that somebody didn't pick up. They said it was first come first serve. I work in IT so I got a few nice app for work installed.
