Re: [Speed] (LHV Mach20) More whining ;) I had a ten-minute outage this morning (west of Allentown), and that is not too unusual. At first I thought it was just DNS problems, but I have gone back to my DNS caching program that I use when times are tough, and it still occurs. I have no problem getting my 10 Mbps down and 800 kbps up when it works though. And I can't say it is a serious problem really, just an indication that they are doing something.
But speaking of doing something, I noticed that my "forward power" shot up a good 10 or 12 dB a couple of weeks ago. I am hoping that means they replaced the CMTS and that we have been upgraded to DOCSIS 3.0, but I have no way of checking that at the moment, and they aren't admitting to it. We will see. |
