Let me cut and paste what I wrote on this subject last week after AT&T filed suit.

That really is just a sematics situation. People who owned Cablevision stock were given stock in MSG as part of the split. Cablevision CEO James Dolan is also Executive Chairman of MSG. Cablevision Vice Chairman Hank Ratner is also President and CEO of MSG. While they are legally separate entities, it is very clear that they are still tied at the hip in reality. I assume that AT&T will be stressing those direct links as part of their tactics in the suit.

Doesn't matter who the CEO/President are. CV/MSG are two separate legal entities trading under different stock symbols.
