No, Qwest has sad upload speeds. Comcast's are just to keep up with downstream.

Comcast should just match fios speeds and for a company that big having those upload speeds is a joke. I'm happy with my 25/25 shooting at 35/35.

Glinc-
Seriously now. I have 35/35 from FIOS along with TV and Phone in a $139 bundle - and Comcast is calling these "new" tiers?? LOL.

The fastest internet I can get is 25/2 and I can't even achieve anywhere near those speeds, plus it costs me $95/month, bundled. I'm pretty sure 4Mb is far from sad. I'd give my left nut to have 15/4 for $65/month.

I happen to live approx. 1144ft from the Qwest DSL terminal. I currently paying $60/month for 20/5 VDSL. My speeds are stable and I get what I pay for. If I wanted to pay the cost, I am able to get 40/20 VDSL.

Since when does Qwest have 40/20 VDSL in Seattle? I was under the impression only peeps in Denver had it available.

They rolled it out not that long ago. Also, the neighborhood I live in was torn down and so all the new houses here are new construction. I'm assuming Qwest saw this as an opportunity.

Interesting. Don't know if BBR ever posted about it. Hope it comes down south from you soon. Fastest offered here from them is 5Mbps/896kbps.

When I first moved here, the fastest available was 7/896 and then one day I checked and I could get all the way up to 40/20. I was like WTF?!?! Lol

Yeah. I attached a picture of my DSL Status Page...some stuff whited out..for obvious reasons...lol.

I also uploaded a picture of the order page where I can change my speed. The 20Mbps is missing obviously because I already have it.
I'm also glad I ordered when I did because I was able to get on the PFL deal and now Qwest has done away with it. Lol

Yes they are. The sad thing is that 20/4 has better upload speed than Qwest in most of their footprint (non-VDSL2) and AT&T in all of their footprint. The only company that competes with Comcast and beats their upload speeds is FiOS.

Yea.. comcast should match Verizon's FIOS speeds here in the twin cities becuase it would really show Qwest, huh!?

Fios isn't Jesus just like the iPhone isn't either. I think Comcast or ANY ISP should offer tiers that they 'can actually handle and deliver'... how's that for an answer?

The FASTEST I can get on TW ("turbo" tier) is 15/768. I would KILL for 15/2!
