The Irish guy should be along shortly, but looking at your stats and not knowing the US figures I can only say that something is not right with what your showing.
All your figures indicate an ADSL connection, yet you show DSL neg mode: ADSL2+.
Your SNR is high and your line attentuation also. I can't see you getting a lot out of it.
Suggest you download TCPOptimiser. Set the speed indicator, then click on the network adapter and then click the optimal setting on the bottom. It will then ask to reboot, do so and you should see an uplift in speed.( with luck!).
If that works play with the latency, that can improve it as well.
I have a line attentuation of 39 but can get my SNR down to 0.8.
You should maybe look around to see what software can be utilised to improve your figures.

• Run Two Speed Tests from the two DIFFERENT cities nearest to you that are listed here: Speakeasy POPs

Also, test here »ftp://ftp1.optonline.net/test512

Note your transfer rate after about 30 seconds. Then cancel the download.

For the TWO Speakeasy Tests, Copy and Paste the speed results from those tests and note the speed from the FTP download test.

• Output Power is within spec, but could be lower.
SNR Margin is OK on the Upstream; the Downstream is in spec, but should be higher.
Attenuation is very good.

Download DrTcp

Set Tcp Receive Window to 63888

Set Windows Scaling, Time Stamping, Selective Acks, Path MTU Discovery, Black Hole Detection to Default.

Leave Max Duplicate Acks and TTL Blank

Using the drop-down menu in The Doctor set your NIC’s (Ethernet adapter’s) MTU to 1492.

Save/Exit DrTcp

Reboot

Rerun the Tweak Test

Run Two Speed Tests from the two DIFFERENT cities nearest to you that are listed here: Speakeasy POPs

Also, test here »ftp://ftp1.optonline.net/test512

Note your transfer rate after about 30 seconds. Then cancel the download.

Post the URL for the New Tweak Test. For the TWO Speakeasy Tests, Copy and Paste the speed results from those tests and note the speed from the FTP download test.

You are getting 85% of your sync rate. That is above average.

I would leave the settings that you have now.

That’s about as good as it gets. It isn’t going to get much better than that. Put a fork in it you’re done.

Hey thanks just so you know this is my results after a few days:
»/tweakr/block:···a=normal
SF: 6720 / 717
LA: 6712 / 717

How is it possible to get 91% of my rate....not that I am complaining....I am actually extremmely happy, its just in all my years having DSL the highest I have ever gotten was 80%maybe 82 on a good day LOL. My hat goes off to verizon.

I see that you have the same RWIN as when we started. I don't see a Tweak Test after you applied the tweaks that I suggested. Did you put the RWIN back to where we started, or is that after the tweaks?

The highest that I have seen was about 95% of the advertised rate. But in those instances, the MODEM was syncing at about 5 - 10% over the advertised rate. 80 - 85% is normally what you see since transmission overhead eats the rest of the bandwidth.

Your MODEM was syncing at Speed (down/up): 7611/863 which gives you a little more wiggle room for a potential higher speed. That is why I said you are getting 85% of your sync rate. You are getting 92% of you advertised rate.

Make sense?
