| Where can I buy original Xbox games?
My sister's fiancee gave me an original Xbox console a couple of months ago.
I have looked on newegg (My preferred option), but they don't have a large selection.
Ebay and craigslist are a last resort option for me, due to the fact that I have gotten ripped off on both sites (Mainly sellers not coming through with the goods after I had paid).
Are there any reputable online stores which still sell a good selection of Xbox games? I do realize that games for this console may be hard to come by. |

| Online.....ebay is about it. I like craigslist due to the fact that I can meet someone and swap games. Easy. No paypal. Bartering and cash.
I know Gamestop has original XBOX games for around $5.00 all the times in those bins. -- How about them Cowboys!

Thing with trading is, I don't know if the xbox was mine to keep or if I have to return it down the road, so I would rather not trade any of the games (With the exception of 2 I bought from gamestop), even though my sister and her fiancee have since bought an Xbox360.

Try Gamegavel.com
They are kind of like EBAY but specialize in games. I buy/sell there all the time.
You will get stuff cheaper generally since they are smaller than EBAY. |

| reply to paintref Are you looking for anything in particular or just looking? My Gamestop here in Bloomington has a pretty big selection of used Xbox games. I could look around for you as I go there at least once every one or two weeks.
We have three gamestops in this town so chances are high I could find what you are looking for. Maybe post a list of the games you want and you might even find people here that will sell theirs as well.
Just throwing that out there. Good luck in your search. |

| reply to paintref I buy games from Half.com all the time. It's similar to eBay (owned by them methinks), but I've been pleased.

| reply to paintref Amazon.com still has a good number of Xbox games available as well. Shop around using all these sources to find the best deal for the game you want. Ebay and other auction sites don't always give the best deal. Especially when the bidding wars start to get crazy. |

The one online store that I really wish had a bigger selection of original Xbox games is newegg.com.
Newegg is the place I go to if I want to buy anything PC related. They have decent pricing and shipping for the most part isn't too bad.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and if anyone else has anything to add, feel free to add to this thread or shoot me a private message. |

| reply to paintref I second Half.com. Although I have had to file 3 disputes for sellers not sending the item over the past 5 years or so. But that is not their fault.
Half has a great selection, and the shipping is a flat rate for Media Mail, and not variable like Amazon.com. When I find a deal on a game or movie at Amazon, it usually has jacked up shipping costs. |
