| [Speed] Slow speeds in Jersey City, NJ?
I don't know when this started happening exactly, but I noticed it around 12 in the afternoon saturday(today) speeds weren't constant like they always are..which is around 1.50 mB/sec, I dunno..my speeds just like fluxuate alot and I get around 1.30 mB/sec. Anyone else noticing this? |

Without virtual splits we'd have much bigger issues... |

| reply to SolidWing68 Where I live, we only have 83 DOCSIS equipment in here. Most in Jersey City are around 50-150 per node. Downtown is pretty much screwed up a bit as apartment buildings are popping up everywhere so you'll see some nodes there with 400-500 DOCSIS equipment.
How do I know? Pretty simple. If you work for Comcast you know what program you'll use. It's open to even the lowest level technician. |

| reply to SolidWing68 I've had calls today that are in a 500-DOCSIS-equipment node but they were fine today after doing some pings for a few hours.
I think it would merit a trouble call if you're really having issues. Call the local Comcast number instead of the 800 number. Lots more chances of getting a rep that knows their stuff when it comes to online service.
What are you signals by the way? |
