I currently use my laptop in my office upstairs. Have a wireless verizon modem (7.1 speed program).
I want to replace my laptop with a desktop. Have been looking around and found what I like at Costco. Their desktops only come with 10/100/1000 Gigabit LAN.I use remote
I use remote connection from our laptop to connect with our main office and work from home.
If I bought one of these desktops, should I have someone put in a wireless card? I'm not a serious computer pro like you all so trying to figure out my very best and fastest options.
Would appreciate all input. Plz ask if I left something out.

unless you are close enough to run a cable, you should get a wireless G USB card. they cost anywhere from $20 to $40. Go to newegg and look for the one with the most reviews. |

this one is popular with the do it yourselfers. it plugs into your USB connector on the computer. it should be recognized by windows.
you may need some help connecting if there is security involved. if so come back here and you can get some help. |
