| [BC] Telus Garbage Overall
All ive gotten from TELUS is problem after problem, Phone support quality is horrible cant even understand the people, Next thing you know you get high latencys now theres a outage hopefully it gets fixed but no it gets worse. Now i cant get on the internet, My act light on my router goes red call support make me do all this stuff put me on hold for 1 hour and now they tell me i need a TECH to come ot my house. Now i gotta pay for a tech had bad can this get.
Im going to prob move to Shaw for support quality and low latencys and faster dl speeds.
The latest i can get a tech to my house is on the 11th of November.
I bet i could get shaw faster than that.
Sorry for anything against TELUS its just not working. |

| Our Telus High Speed Internet now on and off since we told them if we want to switch to Shaw, even the service until the end of periode next 2 weeks. They were so polite at the first time when we told them if we wanted to close account and no more after more than half an hour in conversation. Good experiences after being a customer more than 3 1/2 year .. |

No disrespect, but they won't charge you for a RED act light on the 2Wire modem. That light on the modem means that the modem is not ack'ing an IP, no dataflow. That can mean the following:
1) Network side outage 2) Port issue 3) Bad modem
All of which you would not be charged for. Yes, hold times are high some times, but I doubt you were put on hold for 1 hour while they checked the issue. It's a quick thing to check for a RED act light, especially quick for an Outage. |

| reply to TRICKmach1ne I think you would have trouble finding anyone who has been charged for a repair on their DSL. Unless the problem is blatantly a computer issue, you would never be charged. Usually the tech will try and fix the computer problem, and still not charge you. -- These opinions are mine and mine alone and do not in any way reflect on my employer |
