| Interesting Blog About U-verse
Hello All, While doing a google search, I stumbled across these interesting comments: »blog.tmcnet.com/blog/tom-keating···omed.asp As I've been seriously considering switching..maybe I better wait & see what happens. I'm to the point that I HATE to see our comcast bill arrive. David |

| reply to Davy49 Bogey780, Our most recent comcast bill was $194.19 , it would have been even more had we not received two discount's: 1. Comcast Bundled Services -20.00 2. $22.96 Off CHSI 6mo.
I'm tired of having to go into the comcast 'chat' room and 'beg' for some relief on our monthly bill ! The sad thing about it is..we don't have a dvr box OR any HD at all. At least with the U-Verse U450 tv package, the hd channels are INCLUDED..as well as a decent dvr. I'm just like most everyone else, in wanting to get the MOST for my money, and not feel like I'm getting ripped off. David |

| reply to Davy49 Blog read like an endorsement for Verison as much as anything. I had comcast and uverse channel changes are faster, the guide is more responsive and the picture is better on my Sony HD tv. No system is perfect and there are problems with uverse some freezing of frames and pixelation during live sports feeds, but on comcast I would lose the whole feed if the weather blocked the satelite feed to comcast locally, hasn't happened with uverse. As to standardized iptv transmission you can bet that Microsoft and ATT will jump on it if they can make an extra dollar, MS is the best at using standard like that in their software because they have the name to sell it at a premium. |

| reply to Davy49 Davy49,
I don't take to much stock in blog entries unless the person is creditable and that one doesn't appear to be.
If you have any questions search the forums here, uverseusers.com or utalk.com.
If you have specific questions feel free to ask. Now is U-Verse perfect no, it's still in its infancy stage but getting as the months progress. It will only continue to get better that's the point to IPTV. Now some installs go great and others don't just like with any service.
Remember most folks that post here are having issues vs not. That's the way forums work. Many here can tell you that great installs or some bad ones but in the end it worked out for most. Others it just wasn't for them or they weren't within limits. |

| Dear gdm, As you mentioned, "Now is U-Verse perfect no, it's still in its infancy stage but getting as the months progress." I feel the same way, actually..one of my neighbors right up the street from me is the at&t technician that hooked up the fiber optic connection's in the vrad box across the street from our home. Some nights, he and his wife take walks in our neighborhood, he always asks me if I got hooked up to u-verse yet. He tells me that's the best thing he ever did. It's sounding better and better to me all the time. David |
