2 edits		Video adapter for HTPC

I am looking for a new video adapter for a HTPC. My current motherboard has a built in Radeon X1200 which has jerky play of video streams. Since it is for a HTPC I am looking for low power and low noise/passively cooled.

Since I don't care about 3D gaming performance what video adapter benchmarks, features and specs should I be looking at? Does the amount of video ram matter for playing videos?
