obeythelaw Premium join:2003-04-16 Bayonne, NJ | reply to Nezmo exactly. adobe has become so bloated over the last decade that it's software isn't that great to have anymore. if my iphone got hosed like my blackberry would and i'd have to restart my phone often because of that, then screw flash. |

| reply to Nezmo Let Adobe create a properly functioning version of Flash for the desktop Mac, before they cry about Apple not including the bloated bs onto the iPhone.
When my Macbook's fans go crazy and cpu speed jumps 100% when simple web ads play, my iPhone would probably self-ignite and burn down. -- 1-for-October. (1-7-4) And now, back to your regularly scheduled losing. |

Flash hasn't become bloated, animation designers bloated their scripts and their vector graphics since they design and test everything on hex-core Xeons/Opterons. If they were required to make the flash applet fluid on an 800 mhz Pentium 3, then most phones would be able to do flash easily, and older computers would work much longer before turning into e-waste. |

In other words, a 64-bit browser and 64-bit Flash is pointless and offers no advantages over a 32-bit browser. -- trafficcloak.com - pptp/sstp vpn services |

rv65 Let's just say I like Dublin Dr Pepper Premium join:2008-08-02 San Diego, CA | Well if you're using a 64 bit browser like in Linux then you must use 64 bit plugins unless you're using a wrapper. Wrappers can be buggy and problematic sometimes so native is always best. |

Right, but why bother using a 64-bit browser in the first place when the 32-bit browser works perfectly fine and has access to more than enough address space? -- trafficcloak.com - pptp/sstp vpn services |
