Vz tech support can be reached online at this site via »/forum/vzdirect or through their official forums at »forums.verizon.com
Many tech/social/etc newsgroups are available via google groups and the like. |

Seattle, WA | I remember when Verizon stopped all but the "Big 8" but still ran the 0.verizon groups. I guess I will look at vzdirect and/or forums.verizon.com.

The whole of Verizon's Usenet service was shut down on September 30th, IIRC. There is still a Verizon newsgroup (not 0.verizon.*; but I forget what it is) on third-party servers.
