 Borderlands (PS3, XBOX360, PC)

K, haven't done this in awhile since its been really busy here...but this game is full of greatness and I want to share it with everyone.

Do not read the walk-throughs or the stratagy guides, otherwise you will ruin the game and the fun. All I can say is I am hooked and GearBox should be proud of this title.

Enjoy...WARNING: If you rent it, you will buy it...Blockbuster isn't getting their copy back.

No, its allot better the Hellgate. More thought and planning went into this game. Hellgate was kind of go where you were told, in this one its an open world sand-box type game.

I'm the kind of person who'll download to try it out and then buy it if it's any good.

I was going to buy Hellgate London until I tried to play with a friend over my LAN and found out there was no LAN play! Disgusting!

If I have any time, I'll give Borderlands a try and chances are I'll end up buying it. This is true from what I've seen so far at least. It looks exciting

I uh, rented it as well. If its good I'll buy it for PC.

Looks pretty promising, as an old CS player (since Beta) this may be enough to get me into some hardcore FPS gaming for a bit again.

Regards,

Jason

The best part is, the game is pretty challenging. Got my ass handed to me a few times in this game already.

Indeed this is a brilliant game!
It's got drop-in drop-out co-op so you can start your own game and have folks (friends or random XBL players, not sure about other platforms) come in to help you out and leave when they get bored without messing up your world.

You can also get levelled up a decent amount and go into your friends games that're just starting out and kick all sorts of weak enemy ass!

Sadly, I finished the main storyline the other day leaving me at a mid-30ish level, now I have trouble finding another player that's on their 2nd playthrough while matchmaking... I'd really like to hit the L50 cap with my Berserker.

Sorry for the ramble, it's a great game and also has an excellent theme song....

Played it for PC wasn't impressed from an fps standpoint, found the controls, and graphics weren't anything to write home about. also using game spy to play online is pretty crappy.

I did the same but my friends all play it for PS3,

I'd rather flop my ass on the couch, than sit at my desk to play it anyways.

Has anyone tried to do the LAN PS3 think with it, where you have more than one ps3 in the same house playing it?
