| [Need Info] ID3 Tag Software
as the subject says, is there any free ID3 tagging software that supports all media, FLAC, mp3, ogg.. almost everything I'm fiding is pay. Trying out MP3 tag but that doesn't work half of the time w/ freedb. and Winamp is now missing the "mass auto tagger" feature in the new version. |

| reply to robl27 +1 for MP3Tag. I understand it's not working for you using the freedb source but have you tried using any other source scripts? One of its strong points is the customization. -- Welcome to the Internet, where the men are men, the women are men, and the 12 year old girls are FBI agents. |

| reply to robl27 Well, that's a bummer. I've had nothing but pleasant results with MP3Tag.
Another option is MediaMonkey. It's an all-in-one organizer, tagger, and player with very powerful tagging capabilities. They offer a free and paid version. I actually tag and manage my music using MP3Tag and MediaMonkey. I find the tagging is better with MP3Tag and the auto-organizing is better with MediaMonkey. -- Welcome to the Internet, where the men are men, the women are men, and the 12 year old girls are FBI agents. |

| I use some MusicBrainz scripts developed by someone on the MP3Tag forums. I've always had great luck with them as well.
I'm very particular with tagging and organization. I came up with a 16 step process to for organizing my audio files and it took a lot of trial and error to come up with something that worked well for me. -- Welcome to the Internet, where the men are men, the women are men, and the 12 year old girls are FBI agents. |
