1 edit | reply to Solid_Snake Guess what the Syracuse BB team can do that most NCAA-F teams can't do?
Like every other D1 basketball program in the Country, When Syracuse plays it first BigEast conference game, they control their own destiny.
Every Basketball team that steps on the hardwood starting in summer league practice knows this FACT:
Win their conference, then put 6 wins in a row and win the title. End of story.
Fucka sports writer vote. Fucka coaches vote. Fucka opinion. Fucka computer. The title is won on the court, and every kid playing has a fair chance at it.
Unlike NCAA D1 football. |

| Rankings in basketball are not nearly as critical for any team's destiny. The NCAA basketball tournament is great. We don't have people claiming that teams like Gonzaga deserve to play in the championship game every season they dominate their easier conference schedule, as we often see with college football. They have to play it out, and we all know they simply are not good enough to be there, but at least they have a fighting chance. |
