Is anyone in the NOVA area having the same issue I'm having? For some reason I'm only able to get analog channels on any of my TV's. ClearQAM channels are gone as well. I should also note that my DVR is unable to phone home to the mothership (cox). |

| reply to compuguy1088 I'm having the same issue here just outside of Alexandria. Any attempts to call the customer service line are useless, as well, as I only get a busy signal.
As of right now, there are 144 people in the queue ahead of me for an online chat representative. |

@cox.net | reply to compuguy1088 I have ZERO channels right now, although my Cox internet is still working.
Game 6 of World Series starts in 2 hours with my beloved Phillies attempting to tie the series... looks like I'm heading to the bar for this. |

1 edit | reply to compuguy1088 Me too -- Annandale area.
Seem to be no SD channels. HD is working, at least the two or three I checked. EDIT: only a few HD channels work.
Internet just fine.
Cox Support telephone line has been busy for the last 20 minutes, and using the online chat at »support.cox.com/sdcxuser/asp/cox···page.asp does not work - "connection was reset" comes up after a loooong pause. |

| All clear QAM channels are down. Most HD or SD channels are down. The a few HD channels I tried that still work are Discovery HD, Discovery HD Theater, Science Ch, CNN and Fox News.
There must be something serious happened for Cox Fairfax. Luckily, internet is still up. |

@cox.net | reply to compuguy1088 Dead here in Kingstowne area (except for internet). I got through to a CS rep after 35 minutes of continuous redialing and the only response I got was "We are experiencing problems in your area and we are sorry about this. Call back later". |

@cox.net | reply to compuguy1088 BTW, ironically their Live Chat doesn't work even though everyone's internet is working. Phone is also spitting back busy signals. Good job fellas. |

| reply to compuguy1088 From the Cox network status page:
Northern Virginia
Connection Loss
Some customers in Northern Virginia may experience a loss of Video services. For those customers using a cable box if it is bypassed and a direct connection is made then channels 2-99 will be available.
Our technicians are aware and working to resolve the issue. Currently there is no estimated time of repair. 11/4/2009 7:23:38 PM |

They told me there is an outage affecting over 190,000 households in fairfax. They don't know what's causing it, and there is no ETA for restoration of service. |

@cox.net | reply to compuguy1088 Joc111 if you have a splitter run the cable straight through to your TV. You should be able to get some of the channels without going through the cable box. At least you will get the baseball game! |

WTF? |
