[T-Mobile] Question

So I'm currently on a individual tmobile plan and my contract has been up for a while. I'm looking into getting a family plan with tmobile but want to keep my phone number i currently have with them. Is there any way to do this?

Yes all you do is switch your plan to a family plan. The number stays the same and you add a line.

Can I still get a new phone for free?

Depends on when your contract is up. If you aren't in a contract then yes.

Then at that price he wouldn't be able to get a free phone. The 49.99 unlimited is for voice only, and NO subsidized/free phone. You either pay full price for a new phone or use one you already own. But you are not under a contract. (Even more plus plan)
