I bought them both yesterday. I was just going to buy the Pandaren because I applaud the donation Blizzard is making and wanted to support it... but while I was there LIl' KT just looked so cool. I'm sure they planned in that way, lol, they figured peole would come buy the charity one and end up buying the other one at the same time, effectively letting them donate $5 and keep $15  |

I only bought the Pandaren Monk myself in order to make the donation.

I agree sell all the useless crap you want as long as it doesn't affect gameplay. The second they sell an item that increases mount speed by 1% or lowers your hearth by 1 second I'll be upset. |

As someone else pointed out that $5 donation is a tax write off for your 2009 taxes. You should get a 10-25% write off so you save between $.50 and $1.25 on it as long as you claim it on your 2009 taxes next year. In this economy every penny counts. |

I saw the Pandaren in SW last night, very cool. He was almost as tall as the gnome standing next to him. Very noticeable pet.
Apparently, they are given to every toon, current and future, on the account they are applied to. That's kinda nice. |

I got Lil KT last night. I'll probably get the Monk, I know for sure my fiancee will want the Monk too.
Yes, when you purchase the pet, every single toon you have on the account gets one.
Lil KT is awesome.
I didn't get much time to see him last night, but I did go into a BG and he does laugh at players when you kill them. If you stand idle he also shoots frostbolts at critters, it puts them in a iceblock then breaks, then you hear KT's famous laugh, that "BAHAHAHAHAHA!" XD .. I was standing in the Dalaran sewers and he shot a rat with it, took about 3 minutes though.
Pretty cool pet. |
