vDial for Vonage is a very cool app and is exactly what I wanted on my iPod Touch. Like many of you, I use my iPod or iPhone for storing contacts, vDial allows you to dial your stored contacts from your iPod/iPhone using your Vonage Phone line. It just initiates the call over your wifi/3G data connection on your iPhone or iPod and your vonage line rings and connects you to the contact you choose. It's C2C for the iPod/iPhone.

Note: use 3gunrestrictor with your Vonage App and all of your calls go over 3g (or wifi). I have not had an ATT billed minute on my iPhone in a month!! |

So just to clarify my understanding, you just use vDial to setup the call on your existing Vonage phone line and not using the Iphone/touch to actually do the talking on, right? |

Chicago, IL | Thats correct. Basically use your iPhone/iPod Address Book to choose the contact/number and it connects you to that contact on your Vonage line. It's only $0.99, but for me it saves $$ each month I dont use all my Cell minutes. |
