| vDial for Vonage
vDial for Vonage is a very cool app and is exactly what I wanted on my iPod Touch. Like many of you, I use my iPod or iPhone for storing contacts, vDial allows you to dial your stored contacts from your iPod/iPhone using your Vonage Phone line. It just initiates the call over your wifi/3G data connection on your iPhone or iPod and your vonage line rings and connects you to the contact you choose. It's C2C for the iPod/iPhone.
I grabbed this description from the App Store. AVAILABLE at the iTunes App Store
vDial is a fast and easy way to place calls on your Vonage phone line using your iPhone/iPod Touch Address Book Database. vDial makes your Vonage phone service more convenient then ever. No more holding your iPhone or iPod Touch in one hand while you dial one of your contact phone numbers into your home/office Vonage phone.
With all of our phone numbers stored in our iPhone/iPod Touch Address Book, it just makes sense to have vDial place the call for you using your Vonage Phone Service. |

The standard Vonage App for the iPhone does this without the redirection - directly calls using VoiP with iPhone contact list integration. - why whould I want a different app??
Note: use 3gunrestrictor with your Vonage App and all of your calls go over 3g (or wifi). I have not had an ATT billed minute on my iPhone in a month!! |

join:2002-07-30 Chicago, IL | Thats correct. Basically use your iPhone/iPod Address Book to choose the contact/number and it connects you to that contact on your Vonage line. It's only $0.99, but for me it saves $$ each month I dont use all my Cell minutes. |
