Something about the recent "Side Kick" outage is mentioned.
I'm on the phone with support... "the engineer's are working on the problems"
the guy on the phone confirms the side kick servers are functioning. |

1 edit | reply to almex My service here in Phoenix was down at least a few hours, but it has been back for the last 20 minutes. Strangely enough, data on my G1 never stopped working, but text and voice was out. Never have had a problem like this with T-mobile in my 7 years of service with them. |

said by almex :T-Mobile just confirmed that there is a global outage affecting voice services. Users are unable to make/receive phone calls. Seems to be nationwide. Much as we'd like to think we are the world, is this just nationwide, or the world over? |

There are provisions to help deal with outages at the local level, so having the entire network go down, the "fail safes" have obviously failed. -- The path that leads to truth is littered with the bodies of the ignorant - Miyamoto Musashi |
