| I've stopped allowing 'backward compatibility'.
I've started figuring that if I wanted something to use an old, 'insecure' version, I just wouldn't bother to install a new version.
I'm not exactly "Mr. Shockwave", though I do use a screensaver that requires it.
But so far, I've had no issues with something not working because I don't have that box checked. |

There you have the option of downloading full or slim versions. However it will only download and install in the browser you are running at the time. E.g. if you want to install the ActiveX version, you need to be running IE.
