[Notebooks] ASUS G50v power cord

Laptop: ASUS G50vt-x5

Does anyone have any experience from any of the millions of online retailers that sell power strips?

I believe I need a 120w power strip?

I left it at work and work just happens to be 200 mile drive and a 6 hour boat ride to the job site

Thank you.

Are you looking for the original (ASUS) replacement, or a third party solution?

Third party would be just fine.

I just don't know the difference between what I'm looking at (other than the $15 difference in cost ).

$25 120W UNIVERSAL Notebook Laptop AC Power Adapter

vs.

$40 ASUS 120 Watt AC adapter

Buy the ASUS adapter...no question about it.

Third party ac adapters have been known to cause all sorts of problems. I would not trust the one from sunvalleytek
