2wire 1000sw DHCP Class changed, how to change it back?

Windows Vista Home Premium on wireless laptop
2wire 1000sw
xbox
Onkyo TX-NR807

So... first of all newbie here, please excuse any non-technical terms.

So my IP for my network used to be 172.16.0.1. Then I got a router to use at mom's house for wireless. I hooked it up at home to test it and also to see if I could use it temporarily to hook up my xbox and Onkyo to the network at the same time until I got myself what I needed. It came up with the IP 192.168.1.0. It is a Dlink WPN824v3. It wasn't working how I wanted, maybe because I ended up with two routers?

So now I haven't had the Dlink hooked up and the 2wire is using the 192 IP. Googling has led me to believe that I am now on a lower class setting for IP ranges. I don't know if this matters at all but it seems to me I'd like to get it back to what it was before. Or is this better?

I don't know if I changed anything to make this happen. I was playing around with port forwarding to get TVersity and xbox to work together. Now I'm trying to get my Onkyo network working so I can use the internet radio function and I cannot get it to work. It is coming up with the 192 IP as well.

So I figure I should get my router back to the original class/IP settings, can anyone tell me how to do this? And does it even matter?

Thanks.

Honestly, if everything works this does not matter at all.

The D-Link is taking over DHCP, disable DHCP on the D-link. You will probably run into problems down the road if you leave this enabled.

The only way the 2WIRE DHCP range would change would be if you went into the user interface and changed it yourself.

Okay then, I must have done it when fiddling about. I did try to see if I had changed it myself and couldn't find the place to do it.

Just peeked in again now and found it right away. Sheesh.

And I've since taken the D-Link router out of the mix and am using a switcher there which is what I really needed so everything is hunky dory.

Thanks for the reply!
