Connection problems

I have a home wireless network distributed with a Verizon FIOS Actiontec router. I use WPA2 security and laptops connect to the router with dhcp.

I am having problems connecting between laptops. From one laptop I cannot ping the other (I checked that the ip addresses were correct using the router).

Basically one laptop is not pingable from the other. What is very strange though is that both laptops are pingable from the router. In addition this problem only occurs after the laptops are suspended and brought back up.

What OS are you running on these laptops?

Edit: I should add that I am able to ping ethernet connections fine from the laptop and able to ping the laptops from the ethernet connection. It is only laptop to laptop with the problem.

Just an update. It appears to be a problem with the router as a reboot of this solves the problem. Rebooting both laptops made no difference. Strange issue.

So that router could be issue with the firmware. Have you check to see if there is a current verion yet
