I have a DIR-615 router model. My router would disconnect for about 4 times a day. When that happens, I would have to unplug and plug the router to bring back the green DSL light on the router otherwise, it would stay disconnected. Any suggestions?

I tried 1,6, and 11. All encounter the same problem.

You could have hidden networks in the area that use those.

Mine works best on 5.
