| This is the best I can do here. It's kind of small but you can see the prices and titles. It uses mouse-overs and none of their save or print options seem to work for me.
Maybe someone else can get a bigger better version

Now, just have to save up for about 3 years! It wasn't all that long ago that plasmas were $8000. Now you can get one for under a grand. LEDs will come down in a few years. |

cubs4eva Premium join:2004-04-29 Aurora, IL | The one I was looking at was about $1,800 and it looked damn nice! |

z aXis Premium join:2003-01-23 Arlington Heights, IL | reply to Zinedine Zid Fry's (Downers Grove) has the LED's on display and they look awesome. Not only does the thinness blow you away but the quality of the picture is like that of a good plasma. |
|
cubs4eva Premium join:2004-04-29 Aurora, IL | I didn't think it was going to be that impressive from watching the commercials about them but they really are a step up from the LCDs and Plasmas. They all look nice though, can't really go wrong with any of them. |
|
Jon Premium join:2001-01-20 Lisle, IL | reply to Zinedine Zid And when these LEDs become all the rage, Plasmas will drop even further in price. That works for me! Gonna get me a big-ass plasma. |

I remember when Best Buy first started carrying Plasma TVs. it was a 50" Pioneer, very nice picture... of course it retailed for over $13k..lol amazing what a little time will do. now that Panasonic is the major manufacturer of Plasma panels, it should be interesting to see what happens with it. don't know if it will stay around or go the way of the CRT. |

I also seem yo remember people had a lot of problems with them dying after just a year or two. My mom worked with a bunch of people that spent 6 or 8k on them and they were all crapping out lol!
I always try and wait a while before I jump into any new tech. Let everyone else find the bugs. |
