Re: [HD] Comcast of Union: ~40 HD channels coming Nov 5th
So I was switching through the channels yesterday just to see if comcast started the process of updating the HD channels and boom there it was all the local channels from 798 up to 813 are all set so far. BTW I live in Linden, NJ. |

@comcast.net | I just checked and, yes, locals are in the 800's. I wonder how long they will remain in the 200's. It will really be a pain to reset all my broadcast network season passes (assuming they won't automatically be moved to the 800 channels). |

Well according to the channels that were suppose to be added around today.. NJN HD and WGN HD hasn't been added yet. |

Tuesday is unually the day when new channels are added so I was hoping that there would be some additional channels this morning, but so far there are none. |

Just to let you know Central New Jersey 1 should have got there NEW HD yesterday and Union is not scheduled until Thursday November 5, 2009, Then New Jersey takes a break (Or a slow period)while the PA areas between Harrisburg and Philadelphia move on into there next individual phases, with Maryland taking over New Jersey spot towards the end of this month, with New Jersey picking back up at the beginning of December with New HD in Northwest NJ on Dec 3, 2009, but because of a unusually low number of analog removed and lots of analog still on there system the New HD for their system is greatly reduced!!! |

Just a quick note on NW Jersey, we were already give many HD channels over a year ago when nowhere else in Jersey did. So 25 is low because we already have many of the channels that the rest of jersey is getting now, although we are not getting like 6 channels that the rest of jersey is getting now |

Yes, I did read the thread title. But the link that lists all the new channels says "on OR ABOUT Nov. 5". I was just crossing my fingers that some additional channels would happen today. |

Comcast is ready to add these channels...my channel lineup at comcast.com for 08830 has been updated to reflect the new HD channels in the 800 range.

The channels have been added. My first new recording, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia on F/X HD, has already been set.
So What else could we want?

Haven't checked with my mom yet whether we got the new channels or not, but fancast's channel lineup has also been updated for my zip so I'm safely assuming we got them as well.
