 Poor voice quality with older AT&T conference call service

My MJ works fine with person to person and most conferencing calling services. However, when I join an AT&T conference calling service that my company uses, my voice sounds very fluid and like a robot to users. What's strange is that it works just fine with a newer AT&T global conference service, and, when I call my voicemail after the poor quality, my voice sounds fine.

Any clues or tips ?
