|  [Help] Router issue.. I think
So, when I connect to my Belkin router on my desktop everything is well and good. If i want to connect to the SAME Belkin router on my laptop... it wont work. It will connect but with limited or no connectivity. in other words it just wont work on more than one device. And if i actually were to disconnect from my desktop to connect on my laptop i have to restart the router. Any ideas?  |

| What is your laptop? I am having a similar problem with a Packard Bell TJ65 AU010 T4200. Mt Belkin runs fine with three other computers - an ASUS laptop on Vista and a Compaq desktop and Advent laptop both running XP. Thise three (the Advent and the Compaq use the Belkinn USB) work fine and connect automatically.
The PB doesn't - it onle connects locally. I can, however, get round it by right clicking on the network icon on the tool bar and disconnecting from the netwrk, then going to 'Connect to' and selecting the network there. So far, so good (only bought the PB yesterday).
