|  [netopia] Using Netopia 3347W-T as WIFI router
I recently switched from DSL to cable, and still have my old netopia DSL modem/wifi router. Is it possible to use it just as a wifi access point? I've been playing with the config settings, but without much success. Essentially, I have an existing network with DHCP on the 192.168.0.0 range, and want to connect the netopia router to enable wifi devices to see other devices on the same network. Can it be done? |

1 edit | You would turn off the DHCP server, then renumber the Netopia to be in 192.168.0.x, but outside the DHCP of your existing router.
connect the two routers via LAN ports and you are done.
