maybe you have misconfigure driver settings of your nvidia gigabit lan on board so please reconfigure your settings in your driver result.

treid using several differen drivers/driver versions i'm going to try and use an old 10/100 nic to see if that makes a difference might be a bug in windows 7 as i never got this in xp or vista

Windows 7 is absolute too new OS and many bugs aren't finished to be fixed by microsoft and however I don't have a problem with linux driver modules of two gigabit NIC card adapters. If you do not have any further problems with winXP or Vista that drivers for your winXP or Vista seem be no problem issues then I suggest stay with that Vista if none of issue problems in Vista and wait for driver be fixed or either windows 7 OS bugs be fixed by microsoft that likely that people employees at microsoft are very slowly to fix the bugs for windows 7 for while that really sucks

Stoneyyay,

Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 Support Forum located here »tinyurl.com/9fhdl5 . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to also check the threads available there for additional assistance and feedback.
