Wow. That stuff may be public record but it's way out of line. Why all the personal attacks against this guy?

I'm thinking some of you have an agenda you're keeping secret. There's way too much hate here for it to be coincidental.
X = If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. (This isn't fiber to the home, even if it's fiber speed, so that should be the first alarm that this may not be completely honest marketing.)
Y = people who've scammed others, or done dodgy things in the past often keep on it doing.

X + Y = It's important people know the facts to people they're giving money to.

Don't get me wrong though, if someone proves this wrong in this case, that's awesome and I'd recommend it to my landlord (if pings are gamer-friendly) and take everything back.

I'll pay $1000 install costs and pay $70-$80 a month for a decent fibre link 20/10 or so

I fail to see how stating a few (not-so) historical facts is out of line, until they're proven wrong.

If someone can change broadband in Canada for the better, that'd be awesome. However, consumers here have been burned many times so we need to keep our eyes opened.

I thank all supporting comments...

In regards to the concept comment, SkyNet is no videotron, but If I look at the paper work here on my desk, in the past 90 days alone, we have installed 38 commercial customers. I am very pleased with that performance and the network stress is under 2%. If thats a concept, its a pretty darn good working concept in my opinion.

Yeah, actual pricing/package/coverage details on the website would be nice. As it stands, the only source of such information is DSLR.

I just want to clarify the one bash against myself.
Yes I did in fact contact the registrar, because at the time (I have not verified present records) the registration info for the domain was not properly set up. It was very visibly registered under incomplete/false info that is not accepted for domain registrations.

I was doing my own research to confirm what had been said above, just because I read it about someone, doesn't mean I believe it.

I was well within my rights to do what I did, and I don't have anything to say about it. I was doing my due diligence as any client of an unknown company would do when taking into consideration the cost and weight of what was being offered.

I still in my own opinion am seriously skeptical of what is being offered. Even with positive reviews, it's visible the new system is not under any serious loading by clients yet. What I do find disturbing, is the client who posted the review is getting substantially higher speed than he is paying for... When it comes to connections of this caliber and price, you don't just get higher than paid/promised rates. It shows that there's no serious QoS and traffic control in place. High end providers don't just give you spare bandwidth that's lying around.

OMG read.! Review said testing connection... Also clearly says he is paying for a 10Mbs plan.. What I do is offer one week of unmetered bandwidth. This allows customer to view installation speeds in case of future speed upgrades they may want considering its right there above there heads.

Guess you can call it a tease

Ohh BTW as most our customers utilize VoIP over the network, ahh yes we do QoS throughout entire infrastructure

Reframing from directly insulting you, that comment you made again clearly shows a limited amount of though that went into your post and the search for negativity. A business oriented person would have obviously have come to that conclusion on his own. Yes I have a beef with you, considering the fact you have already directly insulted me here personally and went out of your way trying have my domain name removed. My registrar knows me well for I own,,, I dont even have a clue how many websites I own.. I have been with them and network solutions for years and years... My registrar called me on my personal cell phone mins after he received your complaint

I give up pursuing this any more.

I'm not interested in what happens with this company any more. I don't care if you have a problem with me, and I don't care to listen to topics about it anymore. It's clear this thread is off topic, and it seems conflict and arguments follow anything to do with this company, so I want nothing of it.

my last off topic reply..

One also must consider infrastructure costs that can reliably offer such speeds to the mass's plus ROI for a 59$ a month plan. There is no way right now to offset thousand dollar installation costs to offer such speeds to single dwelling homes, as you wont pay a thousand dollars for an install nor would I.. But I will say that I have some sort of offering to the general public up my sleeve that will be announced once I satisfied with service propogation and system limits.
Actually I would pay $1000 or more for a direct install to my home.

@videotron.ca

I have a question.

What if someone wanted the 10-meg service but didn't want i symmetrical (or didn't want to pay 399 for the use of 10-meg upload).

What if someone wanted 10-meg down and say 2 or 3 meg up?

Is this possible? I assume you can fix your own profiles? If so, what would be the cost?

I understand that symmetrical is not for everyone, but this is what makes us different from the next guy. We cater to commercial symmetrical clients and some FTTH clients in high rise repeater buildings. We wish to stay apart from the demographic of traditional ISPs
