To name a few- FMC, GSN, Sleuth, Boomerang, ALN, VH1 Classic, Reelz, and Chiller. And, Encore Mystery, Action, Western, etc.

BBC American and Cartoon Network HD get my vote. It's killing me that I can't watch the new season of Venture Bros in HD right now since CN transitioned Adult Swim to HD when there's HD content available. |

Anyway, we're getting a new HD set, so the more HD channels, the better.

Same thing goes for here in the Boston area. I think they should also add the local Ion affiliate, WPBX, which Comcast also offers in HD. I also think they should add the HD feed of WMUR, the ABC affiliate in NH, which is offered in SD throughout the Boston area. Comcast only offers it in areas in/near NH, but they offer the HD feed in those areas. |

Network, cable HD VOD. Absolutely the subscriptions add a huge amount to the HD VOD but theres still a ton available from the networks that Verizon does not carry. For example, HDNet, MGM, IFC, AMC and other cable networks including the Comcast networks all have HD VOD from what I've seen on other providers yet Verizon doesn't carry them. Many of the networks that are provided in the free SD section have HD counterparts that are not carried currently by Verizon. To me it seems besides premiums, Verizon offers a ton of VOD in SD yet their HD VOD is very limited and not impressive considering the service. |

| I read that Comcast is adding some new channels in Fort Wayne, such as Cartoon Network HD, E HD, Style HD and a few others.
If they hope to get local FIOS customers to switch, that won't do it, their channel lineup here is paltry compared to what FIOS offers.

VOD seems like such a mysterious area, you never know what someone has unless you are looking at the STB menu (yes, I realize VOD does change, e.g. add/delete, but I mean in general). |
