I didn't know it had been removed from 3.6 but they have removed it from the nightly builds. If you have to have it you can use this add-on. They think you should use the page info or image info now is the reason they have removed it. |

| reply to Vchat20 Also if you right click right on the image it should have a View Image Info option which will take you directly to the page info/media tab like chachazz is saying.. kind of a short cut to it. Like before you would right click on an image and then image properties instead it's View Image Info. |

Like before you would right click on an image and then image properties instead it's View Image Info. Unfortunately I have not found it and I am running the current beta. I get the page info option but no image info option. If that was there I'd be happy (I do a lot of photo EXIF viewing amongst just being able to quickly view other basic image data on the fly). I've even went directly to an image file with no extra page garbage such as this: »radar.weather.gov/Conus/Loop/NatLoop.gif and still nothing.
For now the extension you linked works and gets the job done. -- I swear, some people should have pace-makers installed to free up the resources. FYI once you choose "Page Info" you will see the media tab as shown in the capture above, all the media properties can be viewed here. |

1 edit | reply to chachazz Upgraded to b2 and now I get the 'View Image Info' option. But it just sends me right to 'View Page Info' > 'Media' and selects the item at the top of the list, not the image I selected. So it is still a bit of a loss (Try it on this page alone and see how difficult it is to track down images in there. Yeah, can scroll through one by one but why?).
My mistake. Seems to be some particular images are not triggering it correctly. Tried on the main DSLR page and some went right to the proper item in the list. -- I swear, some people should have pace-makers installed to free up the resources. Firefox 3.6 b2, by default, installs into a different directory than Firefox 3.5, so it's not an upgrade. Rather, it's a stand-alone test beta that users can run independent from the current version of Firefox they may be using.

I run both 3.5.5 and 3.6b2 on my Vista32 machine with no problems.
