[Satellite] Suggestions on switching from Comcast to Dish

I did the math and Dish will be much cheaper then comcast.

Is buying direct from dish the best price?
I want to add a second HD box, should I rent or buy one from Ebay?

Since I already have cable TV in the house, will they use my existing run of cable?

I'd buy straight from Dish Network.

It will be alot easier for you to get the 2nd HD BOX from DISH. Call them up they might throw that in for you free of charge, of course you'll have to pay the monthly access fees.

Also, you have to be aware that Local Channels will be $5/month.

They will run new cables because the Dish people don't like using existing cables for new installs.

Am I paying for access to the box or for the actual box itself?

Yes likely best price and and service ever needed one less CS layrer to go through.

3rd party sale you MUST go though them to iniiate service... though in the end DISH contracctor will likely do it.
