Does TIVO work with Ethernet Connection?

Two weeks ago I converted from a MOCA/Coaxial connection to an Ethernet connection. Presently I am unable to get the FIOS Channel Guide, Widgets, or Pay per View.

Would TIVO be able to provide these FIOS under my current Ethernet connection? Just curious.

You need a FIOS STB to get Widgets, the FIOS channel guide and PPV/VOD. To get those the Ationtec needs to have the coaxial cable going to it. Even though your internet connection is Ethernet. The Actiontec uses MoCA to connect to the FIOS STB over the coax cable.

You can't get any of those FIOS features over TiVo. Although TiVo has it's own guide and own VOD features, but they have nothing to do with FIOS.

I have Ethernet from my ONT, but when I had an STB I still needed the coaxial cable connected to the Actiontec to get all those features you mentioned.

I certainly don't miss any of those hing with FIOS. I have access to the bulk of those things through my TiVos, Xbox360, PS3 adn VUDU boxes. Only the quality is better than what my FIOS STB had.

When you say that you switched to an ethernet connection to the ONT, I'm presuming that you connected your own router directly to the ONT.
Doing so, broke STB's access to the internet.

The STBs access the internet via your WAN connection for VOD, guide data and widgets. You need a MOCA bridge to allow the STBs to connect your router.
You can use the Actiontec/Westell for that, or a separate NIM. See the following FAQ for using the Actiontec/Westell for a MOCA bridge:
