Nascar posting about NBA. Isn't that sacrilegious?

I won't bite on LP - but NBA TV will be a nice addition...the HD version, that is...

Yes, they'll get around to it by March or June.

Re: NBA League Pass & NBA TV

I would get League Pass, but for my team (LA Lakers), every game is broadcast on a local channel, ESPN, TBS, TNT, FSW, etc. I think maybe 2-3 games last year were not televised.

NBA TV however, will be a nice addition and I'm glad they are adding it. But only when the HD channel gets added...

It's nice to see they are adding NBA TV to the HD Extreme package and not the sports package.

Well said. It gets frustrating when they keep saying it's coming soon....and that's all we get, talk.

Just add the channel and LP and be done with it. Also, why do they wait until literally the day before the season starts to add it? What is so hard about adding it a month early.

Well for LP, it's not really an issue not to launch it until it's needed (IMO).

As for NBA HD, i'm assuming they have some back-office infrastructure work to do (clear a QAM, etc..)

I can think of a quick way to free up 3 QAMs.

Does anybody know if they will have dual feeds on fios? also will verizon also televise all the nba pre-season games like directv does?

It looks like they're not turning it on until the regular season, so no pre-season games. I would think they would use the pre-season to work out the kinks.

NBA SD 89 is on here in NNJ now. I don't see the HD equivalent.

The SD feed will be everywhere by early next week. Don't ask why but the HD feed will not be on until close to the start of the NBA season and perhaps even afterwards in some areas...sigh...

OK I won't ask why.....I will just assume it is some incomprehensible reason that will make people even more upset.

I assume then that LP will not be available until after the pre-season, or a week into the regular season & that if I call, say, a week before the season starts, the CS rep will have no idea of what I am talking about then I ask for LP.

Looks like Sports Package, since I get the not subscribed message. I don't have the Sports Package and have Extreme HD.
