| I can't wait either.
TCU crushed their ranked opponent. Boise, Cincinnati, and Texas (to my chagrin) crushed their unranked opponents.
Florida, Alabama, Iowa, and USC struggled with their unranked opponents.
However I don't see much change in the BCS top 10. Perhaps TCU get #6. The #1 and #2 spots (Finishing at #2 is equal to finishing at #1) are meaningless as they wind up playing each other in the BCS title. |

Yeah TCU crushed a turd BYU team that unranked Florida St beat a whole lot worse. I guess Florida St should be ranked
TCU couldn't beat any of the teams in the top 14 outside of Boise or Cincinati. |

| More than likely Boise, TCU and Cincinnati will wind up playing other top 10 ranked BCS teams in a bowl somewhere.
You know I'm good for a case of beer. Time for you to back up your smack-talking and put your money where your mouth is. If it comes to pass that there are 3 non-BCS top 10 squads paired with 3 other BCS top 10 squads come bowl time, I "say" the non-BCS teams go 2-1 at least.
BTW, vasta , jmn1207 , I'm taking all action. * in moderation |

| If Boise State, Cincinnati, or TCU makes it to the BCS championship game this season, you pick your poison here:
Send me the address you'd like me to ship it to in a PM on this site, and keep the price under $50, not including shipping costs.
If none of those teams make it to the big game, the deal is off and you owe me nothing.
You can't lose in this one. But I'm certain it won't matter. |

| reply to Edge1 As a Cincy fan it does suck that they moved down after crushing UL but I understand it. Its all SOS. Now if we go into and beat both WVA and Pitt and we are still ranked very low then I'll be very upset. Either way its been one great season so far to watch so no complaints. As for strength of schedule, I think we play both Tenn and OU next year which will help. And if OSU will ever just suck it up and play us and not try to buy their way out of it then that would be another team we can add to our rankings. |

I was hoping against hope that a non-BCS squad would make it to the title game, but looking at this, I see the fix is in...again. By the end of the season, Oregon may be 11-1, Boise may be 12-0, and Boise will be ranked below the team they beat. Only in the BCS.
TCU has another big game with now #16 Utah in a few weeks.
Whereas Texas hasn't played any currently ranked tams, and the teams they have played have a combined 28-21 record. All of their non-conference games are against non-BCS schools. Yet they are #3?? Where's the outrage from all you strength of schedule guys?

These BCS boys will run from you like Texas did with Boise this year. Confirm that OSU and Tennessee have committed to next years schedule. OU does have the balls to play all up and comers. |

| Nobody likes the BCS except a few money hungry elites. Nearly everyone wants a playoff system, except the mid-majors that don't want to lose their argument that they belong in a championship discussion. A playoff system gives teams like Boise State less of a chance than they currently enjoy. |
