Purchased the subject modem on Craigslist and once installed I found that it did not have a DSL connect light. Called Qwest and they tried to provision it without success. They stated they have had many problems with the modem and had to swap out many due to this problem. But my problem is that Qwest will not swap it out since I am not the orginal buyer even if I am a current DSL subscriber. Sucks! Any suggestions on how I should proceede? The guy I bought it from won't give me my money back. |

| Sorry to hear this. Hopefully, you didn't spend too much on it. I assume it wasn't possible to test the modem prior to paying for it.
May not get you anywhere, but you could try calling Qwest again; hopefully you will reach a different rep who will be more sympathetic to your situation. |

@comcast.net | reply to dlsewald check the guys ad and if he says that it works great, he lied and therefore you can sue him to get your money back......the problem with the modems is that QWEST put their own firmware on the modem and now they suck |
